Look, we’re not perfect. We still love a cheeky Temu purchase every now and again and we’ve been known to forget our reusable bags running in the Asda like every other normal person. But here at Scouse Bird Shop, we’re genuinely trying to be more eco-friendly where we can – without being all preachy about it.

Made to Order = No Waste

We don’t believe in shelves full of stuff that might never sell. That’s why nearly everything we do is made to order. You order a mug? We print it there and then. That means no waste, no overstock, and no random products ending up in landfill because they didn’t shift. It’s proper efficient – and better for the planet.

Reusing Everything We Can

When deliveries come into us, the packaging doesn’t just go in the bin. If a box is still good, we’ll reuse it to send your order out. If it’s a bit worse for wear, we shred it and use it as filler to protect your goodies in transit. Not glamorous, but it works. Our shredder is called Shreddie Mercury FYI, because he's an eco-warrior Queen. Get it?

Eco Packaging That’s Not Just For Show

We use a mix of recycled and recyclable packaging – so even the air bubbles we stick in the parcels to stop stuff rattling about are planet-friendly. You might also spot paper filler in your order or the occasional bit of bubble wrap – don’t worry, it’s all reused from elsewhere. We’re not buying in fresh plastic – we’re giving stuff a second life.

Nothing Goes to Waste

You know those little plastic bags that come round the mugs from suppliers? We don’t bin them either. Instead, we reuse them to stop leaks on things like the smaller Spanish cleaning bottles or to keep your small items like hoover discs and sink fizzes all together in bigger parcels. If it’s clean and reusable, we’ll use it again. Simple as.

Basically, we’re doing our best to run a small biz that’s thoughtful about its impact. It’s all about little changes – and they add up. So when you order from us, you’re not just getting boss products with loads of attitude, you’re supporting a business that gives a sh*t.
